Tucan Swing brand redesign by Alejandro Milà

One of the most fun projects of 2026 has been refreshing the brand identity of Tucán Swing, the Lindy Hop community in Costa Rica where I've been taking classes for the past year and a half. Yes, I can already pull off some pretty cool Lindy moves.

We refreshed the community's mascots, a pair of dancing tropical toucans, and redesigned the Tucán Swing logo with a clean, colorful, and positive style that invites you to dance and also captures the spirit of Costa Rica.

I'm also sharing some of the materials we created for the community, posters, flyers, and more, to help spread the word and get more people dancing Lindy Hop in Costa Rica.

And honestly, dancing is one of the best things you can do for your body and soul. It's something I'd wanted to do ever since I watched Singin' in the Rain as a kid, and many years later I can finally say I did it.
